To thrive as a Part-Time Intake Specialist, you generally need strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in customer service or healthcare administration, often supported by a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems, data entry software, and scheduling tools is typically expected. Excellent communication, active listening, and empathy help build rapport with clients and ensure accurate information gathering.
