TITLE:                                           Software Engineer II

EMPLOYER:                               Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc.

LOCATION:                                 7223 Lee Deforest Drive, Columbia, MD 21046 (Telework 2 days/week permitted)

DUTIES:                                      Responsible for the development, release and maintenance of software systems, including designing, developing and delivering software systems related to healthcare staffing solutions. Participate in requirements gathering, technical document design and review and estimate required workload. Utilize appropriate technologies and programming languages, run unit tests and conduct peer code reviews. Collaborate with quality assurance to fix defects and maintain and conduct bug fixes.

REQUIREMENTS:                     Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

and 2 years experience as Software Engineer or Software Developer. Must have prior experience with: UI: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP/HTTPS protocol, RESTful API, React.js, Material UI (MUI), Typescript Figma, React Testing Library, Jest; Service: C#, ASP.NET Core, WebAPI, Identity Server, Fluent Validation NUnit, EF Core; Database: PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB; DevOps: Docker, Docker Compose, Azure Pipeline; Cloud (AWS): ECS, ECR, CloudWatch, S3, EC, RDS, CloudFormation; Version control: Git; Postgres DB; Documentation: markdown, mermaid, UML; and Techniques: Domain-driven design; JWT based authentication and authorization; Test-driven development; component-driven development; Containerization with Docker; Cloud native development, and object-oriented design.

SALARY:                                     $92,955 to $110,000 per year
