Job description

A Farmers Insurance agency is seeking a professional, dependable, and customer-focused Part-Time Insurance Service Producer to support existing clients, assist with policy service needs, and identify opportunities to help clients with additional insurance solutions.

This is a remote, work-from-home position with a preference for candidates located in Boise or the Treasure Valley. The ideal candidate will already hold an active Property & Casualty license. However, we are willing to consider and support the right candidate through the licensing process.


The agency will provide approved study materials for licensing. The candidate will be responsible for licensing, exam, and state-related fees.


Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Provide professional service to current agency clients by phone, email, and agency systems

Assist with policy changes, billing questions, coverage reviews, renewals, and client follow-up

Identify opportunities to round out client accounts through appropriate property and casualty insurance solutions

Quote and sell eligible insurance products after licensing requirements are met

Support agency retention goals through proactive communication and timely service

Maintain accurate client records, notes, and documentation

Follow agency procedures, carrier guidelines, and compliance requirements

Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, agency team members, and carrier partners

Manage assigned tasks independently in a remote work environment


Requirements

Active Property & Casualty license preferred

Willingness to obtain Property & Casualty license if not currently licensed

Must be able to pass a background check

Prior insurance, customer service, sales, or administrative experience preferred

Strong phone, email, and follow-up skills

Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable

Comfortable working independently from home

Basic computer skills and ability to learn agency systems

Professional communication style and client-first mindset

Boise or Treasure Valley residency preferred
