Financial Analyst Senior- F-35 Production - Level 3
Location: Fort Worth TX
This role reports to the F-35 Production Sr. Business Manager and is responsible for performing financial and funding analysis across assigned contracts within the production portfolio. The position plays a key role in shaping proposal and negotiation strategies by providing business and financial insight related to cost risks, return on sales (ROS) commitments, target profit rates, execution, and overall financial performance. Additionally, this role supports program execution by driving achievement of business and financial goals while ensuring accurate financial planning, reporting, and long-range forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform financial and funding analysis for assigned F-35 Production contracts
- Influence proposal and negotiation strategies with a focus on cost risk, ROS commitments, and profit objectives
- Support execution of the production portfolio to achieve program business and financial goals
- Establish and maintain compliant budget baselines for assigned contracts
- Review and analyze program Estimates at Completion (EACs)
- Prepare monthly Change in Position (CIP) charts
- Provide business guidance to Program Management and F-35 Business team stakeholders
- Support internal and external financial reporting requirements
- Conduct cost impact assessments and perform root cause analysis
- Coordinate with FP&A to ensure accurate Orders, Sales, EBIT, and Cash reporting
- Assist in development of the F-35 Production Long Range Plan (LRP)
- Extract, analyze, and summarize large volumes of financial data from systems such as COBRA, SAP, and Electronic Contracting Environment (ECE)

Who You Are:
You are a detail-oriented and analytical finance professional with a strong foundation in program finance, financial planning, and contract support. You bring experience working with complex financial data and are comfortable translating insights into actionable business guidance for cross-functional teams. You understand key financial metrics such as Orders, Sales, EBIT, and Cash, and have experience supporting proposal development, estimating, and program execution. You are adept at working with financial systems like COBRA and SAP, and can efficiently extract and synthesize large data sets. You thrive in a collaborative environment, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and are driven to support sound decision-making and strong financial performance across programs.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above from an accredited college.
- Experience with business systems such as: ECE, SAP, Deltek/COBRA, Hyperion or Accounting Data Analysis and Reporting (ADAR)
- Experience with MS Office Suite
Desired Skills:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and quality are required.
- Familiar with Contracts/Proposal processes and procedures.
- Familiar with proposal data and preparation of budget files.
- Familiar with Funding processes and procedures including customer notifications.
- Familiar with EVMS Program Finance processes and procedures including Baseline Change Requests (BCRs).
- Previous experience supporting Control Account Managers (CAMs) as a Cost Analyst in a complex, developmental program environment highly desirable.
- Understanding of Financial Planning and Analysis (LRP/OSEC). Experience with supporting Long Range Plan (LRP) and completing monthly outlook reconciliation and forecasting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
