Memorial Community Health, Inc. is seeking a dependable and team-oriented part-time Dietary Assistant to join our Dietary Department. This position will work weekend shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m and plays an important role in preparing and serving meals while helping provide an excellent dining experience for our patients and residents. The ideal candidate is reliable, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to providing outstanding customer service. Rotating holidays and weekends are required.

Job Duties:
  • Prepares and serves meals to patients, visitors and staff according to approved menus completely, in a consistent and efficient delivery of service.
  • Assists with tray assembly ensuring a smooth work flow from food preparation to delivery.
  • Maintains responsibility for high quality food preparation, proper food handling and sanitation.
  • Assists in stocking and maintaining supplies for the kitchen and dining room.
  • Demonstrates appropriate use, sanitation and care of equipment to provide a safe and sanitary work environment using required guidelines.

Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in food preparation and sanitation preferred
  • Previous food service/customer service experience preferred
  • Previous experience working with the elderly preferred
