General Responsibilities:
Instruct students in CNC machining using HAAS equipment; supporting workforce development and student success. Prepare training materials aligned with industry standards. Evaluate student performance and provide feedback. Maintain equipment, tooling, and lab safety standards. Collaborate with industry partners to ensure training meets workforce needs.

Typical Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
A minimum of 3-5 years hands-on experience operating and programming HAAS CNC Machines. Demonstrated proficiency in G-mode/M-mode programming, setup, and operation of CNC mills and lathes. Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g.. Mastercam or similar). Strong understanding of machining process, tolling and blueprint reading. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse learners. Ability to develop lesson plans, assessments, and hands-on training activities. Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in a machining environment. Organizational skills and ability to manage lab/shop environments. Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience in an academic or industrial setting. Industry-recognized certifications (e.g., NIMS or HAAS certification). Experience working with apprenticeships or workforce development programs.
