Position Description
HME is looking for hard working college students that are eager to learn more about the steel fabrication and construction industry. In our office and production shop you'll see how our fast-growing company operates behind the scenes. Here at HME we can help make it easy for students to gain real world experience and earn excellent pay while working towards your degree.
    • This internship will take place in our main office in Topeka, KS during summer break.
    • This internship is open to individuals during final two summers prior to graduation.

Position Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a Construction Science/Management degree.
  • Ability to handle physical workload required
  • Good time management skills required
  • Strong academic record and passion for the construction industry preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to lift 100 pounds required
  • Must be able to successfully complete all post-offer and pre-employment contingencies
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
