Job description

Home Instead, Frederick, MD is a rapidly growing senior care company looking for a high-energy Business Development Executive to expand our referral network and drive revenue growth across Frederick and Carroll Counties. This is a field-based sales role, ideal for someone who understands the full sales cycle - from prospecting to close - and enjoys building genuine relationships with healthcare partners. (Part-time)
You'll work directly with company leadership and have a real, visible impact on our growth.
Compensation: Hourly base plus uncapped commission
Benefits: Mileage reimbursement, dental/vision insurance
Schedule: Field-based; in-office one day per week
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Prospect, develop, and close new referral relationships with hospitals, rehab facilities, physician practices, senior living communities, case managers, social workers, and other healthcare professionals
• Own the entire sales cycle - prospecting, networking, relationship development, and closing
• Generate new business through cold outreach, networking, in-person meetings, and community engagement
• Develop and execute weekly territory and sales plans
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
• Track activities, opportunities, and results in our CRM
• Meet and exceed growth and referral goals
WHO YOU ARE
• A confident, self-starting sales professional who takes ownership of results with minimal supervision
• Comfortable spending the majority of your time in the field, meeting prospects face-to-face
• Skilled at presenting, negotiating, and asking for the business
• Resilient and persistent - you handle rejection well and keep moving
REQUIREMENTS
• 2+ years of business development, outside sales, or B2B sales experience selling services
• Proven track record selling services to businesses or professional organizations
• Solid understanding of the full sales process: prospecting, qualifying, pipeline management, relationship building, and closing
• Strong communication, networking, and presentation skills
• CRM experience required; Salesforce experience a plus
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout Frederick, Carroll, and Washington Maryland Counties
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus, but strong sales performance matters more
