Job description

*Live-In Care Taker Position – 6 Days/Week | $54,000 Annually*

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable live-in *care taker* for our grandparents in their home. This role is part of a supportive family environment where relatives are very involved with medical care, appointments, and day-to-day needs.

*Schedule & Availability*
- Live-in position, 6 days per week
- General hours: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Medium to good English required
- The *care taker* should be available throughout the day to assist as needed and provide companionship and support. Most days are relaxed and predictable, with significant downtime. The *care taker* should remain available, check in periodically, and be ready to help, but the role typically does not involve continuous hands-on care.

*Responsibilities*
- Prepare breakfast and lunch
- Administer medications to grandfather as directed
- Help grandfather with getting ready for the day as needed
- Assist with showers several times per week for both grandparents
- Laundry
- Cleaning and maintaining grandparents' room
- Provide companionship and assistance with daily activities
- Offer support during occasional appointments, procedures, family events, or other situations when additional help may be needed

*Grandfather's Care Needs*
Able to walk but requires assistance with:
- Standing up from chairs or bed
