Procurement & Contract Specialist (Part-Time)


Company: Quality Response Medical Staffing, LLC (QRMS)


Location: Remote / Hybrid (Texas Preferred)


Hours: Approximately 15 hours per week


Position Summary

The Procurement & Contract Specialist will assist with identifying government contracting opportunities, preparing proposal packages, reviewing solicitations, coordinating required documentation, and supporting contract administration. This position is ideal for someone with experience in government procurement, proposal development, or public sector contracting.


Responsibilities

  • Search for federal, state, and local government contracting opportunities.
  • Review solicitations (RFPs, RFQs, IFBs, and RFIs).
  • Coordinate proposal preparation and submission.
  • Complete vendor registration and compliance documentation.
  • Assist with pricing worksheets and proposal forms.
  • Monitor solicitation deadlines and contract modifications.
  • Maintain contract files and procurement records.
  • Communicate with contracting officers and procurement officials as needed.
  • Coordinate with recruiting and management staff to support proposal requirements.
  • Research teaming opportunities with prime contractors.


Qualifications

  • Experience in government procurement, contracting, proposal writing, or contract administration preferred.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, or local government procurement processes.
  • Experience with SAM.gov, procurement portals, and government solicitations is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.


Preferred Experience

  • Healthcare staffing or healthcare contracting experience.
  • Experience with government proposal preparation.
