Job Description
  • Conducts clinical assessments and reassessments with referred customers
  • Reviews medical and other health-related documents and conditions using standard procedures
  • Reviews any prior documentation, as applicable
  • Conducts bio psychosocial assessment using approved questionnaires and techniques
  • Conducts the Social Security Administration sequential evaluation process for determining disabilities
  • Conducts mental health evaluations for customers identified as in need of evaluation as a result of the clinical assessment process
  • Identifies customer functional limitations and makes a functional capacity outcome determinationย 
  • May request or conduct additional medical or other assessment to support making a functional capacity outcome determination
  • Coordinates Review Physician activities as required when the Qualified Health Professional is unable to make the functional capacity outcome determination of if the customers functional capacity outcome is fully employable or vocational rehabilitation
  • Coordinates Evaluating Clinician activities as needed to conduct further medical, mental health, or substance abuse assessment as may be needed to determine the customerโ€™s functional capacity outcome
  • Works with the Engagement Specialist to ensure customer outreach related to any needed follow-up activities is conducted
  • Compiles clinical assessment forms and documentation and prepares clinical assessment reports as required by HRA
  • Signs off on and gains customer signatures on clinical assessments when completed
  • Works collaboratively with service track staff to interpret any clinical assessment findings or documents that affect service planning and delivery
  • Uses motivational interviewing techniques to elicit most complete information from customers during the assessment process
  • Participates in team meetings to evaluate and improve clinical assessment processes, including providing input to the design of any clinical assessment forms
  • Participates in any required training related to the position and its responsibilities
  • Understands and adheres to HRA policies and procedures and RWS standard operating procedures related to clinical assessments
Qualifications

โ€ข Master's Degree in psychology, special education, social work, or related field.

โ€ข Must have experience with behavioral intervention, and/or a strong educational emphasis on the principles of learning and developmental psychology.

โ€ข Two or more years' experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behaviorally challenged population.

โ€ข Must be eligible to be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Must be available for crisis intervention.
