Aqua Tots Swim School is currently seeking a Swim Instructor to join our team. As a Swim Instructor, you will have the chance to make a positive impact on the lives of children by teaching them how to swim in a fun and safe environment. Imagine the thrill of seeing a child confidently swimming across the pool for the first time, knowing that you played a part in their achievement.

Not only will you get to share your love for swimming, but you will also get to work in a fun and energetic atmosphere. In addition to the excitement of being a part of our team, this position is also Onsite, allowing you to work directly with our students at our state-of-the-art facility.

Requirements:

  • Provide a clean, organized, and safe work area

  • Attend monthly in-service training
  • Track student swim progression throughout the levels
  • Provide outstanding customer service to all guests
  • 4-6 hour shifts teaching 8 or 9 classes back to back
  • Availability to work one weekend shift from 8:30am-3pm (Saturday or Sunday)

WHAT DOES A SWIM INSTRUCTOR DO?

As a Swim Instructor, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our students every day. You will be responsible for teaching swimming lessons to children of all ages and skill levels, helping them develop their water safety skills and enhance their swimming abilities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include creating and implementing lesson plans, conducting group and individual lessons, and providing constructive feedback to students and their parents.

You will also be responsible for ensuring the safety of all participants in the pool area and maintaining a clean and organized teaching environment. No prior teaching experience is necessary, as we provide comprehensive training to all new instructors. However, a passion for swimming, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well with children are essential for success in this role.
