The 3-5-8 rule for florists is a guideline for arranging flowers, where the bouquet is divided into three sections: 3 flowers in the front, 5 in the middle, and 8 in the back, creating a balanced and visually appealing display. This rule helps florists design arrangements with proper proportion and harmony, especially when creating bouquets or centerpieces. Understanding such principles is useful for part-time floral workers to improve their floral design skills and customer satisfaction.
