As an Armed Security Officer supporting a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols and drive between assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, ATM areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and follow applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal post orders for armed assignments.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Preferred: Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
