About our property:

Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa is nestled high atop the majestic San Bernardino Mountains at an elevation of 5,174'. This Resort is surrounded by an ocean of Ponderosa Pines and gives guests exclusive access to Lake Arrowhead, a reservoir with a surface area of 780 acres. Lake Arrowhead is the perfect location for outdoor adventure enthusiasts and offers a variety of summertime and wintertime activities including hiking, mountain biking, fishing, kayaking, water skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, ziplining, and more. Position Summary

Spa of the Pines is seeking a skilled, passionate, and guest-focused Esthetician to deliver exceptional skincare and beauty services in a serene resort environment. The ideal candidate is dedicated to helping guests look and feel their best through personalized facials, waxing services, and makeup applications while creating memorable spa experiences that inspire relaxation, confidence, and wellness.

As a valued member of our spa team, you will play an important role in enhancing the guest experience by providing expert skincare recommendations, promoting wellness, and delivering outstanding service that exceeds expectations.

Essential Functions

Deliver Exceptional Spa Services

  • Perform professional facials, skincare treatments, makeup applications, and waxing services in accordance with Spa of the Pines standards and protocols.
  • Conduct thorough guest consultations to assess skincare concerns, treatment goals, contraindications, and product recommendations.
  • Customize treatments to meet the unique needs and preferences of each guest.
  • Educate guests on skincare regimens and the benefits of maintaining healthy skin.

Create Memorable Guest Experiences

  • Provide personalized, friendly, and professional service throughout the guest journey.
  • Ensure guests feel welcomed, comfortable, and valued from consultation through treatment completion.
  • Build lasting relationships that encourage guest loyalty and repeat visits.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest questions and concerns.

Promote Wellness and Retail Success

  • Recommend retail products and home-care regimens that support guest skincare goals.
  • Educate guests on additional spa services that may enhance their overall wellness experience.
  • Assist in building and maintaining a loyal clientele through exceptional service and client engagement.

Maintain Professional and Operational Standards

  • Ensure treatment rooms, equipment, and work areas are clean, sanitized, and maintained according to spa standards and health regulations.
  • Maintain accurate guest records and service documentation.
  • Adhere to all spa policies, safety procedures, and sanitation requirements.
  • Maintain current licensure, certifications, and any required professional insurance.
  • Begin and conclude all appointments on time while maintaining the highest service standards.

Qualifications

  • Current California Esthetician License required.
  • Previous experience in a luxury spa, resort, wellness center, or salon preferred.
