The Ahlstrom plant in De Pere, WI is seeking candidates for part-time, entry-level production positions. Starting pay for these positions is $27.80/hour.
No experience necessary! We provide paid training in our safe and team-focused environment.
Responsibilities
  • Operate a core cutting machine to cut cores to size for the current and upcoming shifts.
  • Operate a forklift, clamp truck and pallet jack.
  • Unload cores from semi-trucks.
  • Provide direct support to Production Operators.
  • Move materials throughout the facility utilizing a forklift, clamp truck and roll carrier.
  • Perform housekeeping.

Requirements
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Able to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Able to work between 20-29 hours/week. This position does not offer benefits.
  • Flexible schedule based on staffing needs and may include days, nights and/or weekends.
  • Work well with a team.
  • Must be a safe worker and follow all safety rules.
  • Must report to work on time and have excellent attendance.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Physical requirements may include:
    • Able to lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds
    • Work around machinery
    • Operate fork trucks, clamp trucks and pallet jacks
    • Work in a hot and humid environment
