What job makes $10,000 a month without a degree?

A part-time entry-level FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) worker can potentially earn around $10,000 a month depending on the industry, location, and shift premiums. These roles often require physical stamina, safety certifications, and the ability to work in remote environments, with pay rates varying based on the specific job and company policies.

What does entry-level FIFO pay?

Entry-level FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) jobs typically pay between AUD 70,000 and AUD 100,000 annually, depending on the industry and location. These roles often include allowances for travel, accommodation, and overtime, with some positions offering additional benefits for shift work and remote site environments.

What are the typical schedules and roster patterns for a part-time entry-level FIFO position?

Part-time entry-level FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) positions often feature flexible roster arrangements, such as 2-weeks-on/2-weeks-off or shorter shifts tailored to project needs. While you'll spend extended periods at the worksite, part-time roles may allow for reduced hours or split shifts compared to full-time FIFO positions. The work environment is usually remote, with accommodation and meals provided, and you'll collaborate closely with a small onsite team. Adapting to shift work and being away from home for stretches can be challenging, but many employers offer support and resources to help new hires adjust.

Part Time Entry Level Fifo roles typically involve working remotely at mining sites with FIFO arrangements, requiring safety inductions and basic certifications. Mining Labour roles are usually on-site, with similar safety requirements. Both roles are entry-level, but Fifo positions focus on remote work, while mining labour is more localized.

What are Part Time Entry Level FIFO jobs?

Part Time Entry Level FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) jobs are positions that require employees to travel to remote work sites, often in industries like mining, construction, or oil and gas, for scheduled shifts before returning home for time off. These roles are considered entry level, meaning little to no prior experience is required, and are part-time, so employees work fewer hours or shifts than full-time FIFO workers. Typical duties might include basic labor, cleaning, assisting skilled workers, or general site support. Part time FIFO roles can be a good way to gain experience in the industry and understand the unique FIFO lifestyle, which involves periods away from home followed by rest breaks.

What jobs pay $700 a day?

In the context of a part-time entry-level FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) role, earning $700 a day is uncommon due to the typically lower pay rates for entry-level positions. Higher daily rates are usually associated with specialized or senior roles in industries like mining, oil and gas, or construction, which often require specific skills, certifications, or experience. Entry-level FIFO jobs generally pay less, but some specialized roles with additional qualifications can reach or exceed this rate on a daily basis.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Part Time Entry Level FIFO worker, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Part Time Entry Level FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) worker, you need basic literacy and numeracy skills, physical fitness, and often a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with workplace safety protocols and the ability to use job-specific tools or machinery are typically required, with some roles necessitating certifications like White Card or First Aid. Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills help candidates excel in remote and dynamic environments. These abilities are crucial for maintaining safety, productivity, and effective collaboration on FIFO sites.

Can you get a FIFO job with no experience?

Part-time FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) jobs often do not require prior experience, as employers may provide on-the-job training. However, having relevant skills such as safety awareness, physical fitness, or basic technical knowledge can improve chances of employment. Entry-level positions typically focus on attitude and willingness to learn over experience.
