About the Opportunity 

We are seeking an experienced and Professional Electrical Engineering Consultant who can work on project basis to collaborate on a growing portfolio of engineering and design projects. This opportunity is ideal for a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or highly experienced engineering professional interested in building a long-term working relationship in a collaborative and growth-focused environment. Candidate must be NJ/NY resident due to site visits requirement in the area. 
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a proactive mindset to support project execution, client relationships, and business development initiatives. Must be able to work and do project management independently on MEP fit out projects for NYC schools and commercial projects in Tri-State area. Candidate can work remotely, must be available for job site meetings for projects. 
Responsibilities:
  •  Collaborate on electrical and/or mechanical engineering projects from concept through completion.
  •  Review, develop, and approve engineering designs, calculations, and technical documentation. Must attend QC meetings with client. 
  •  Provide technical leadership and project oversight.
  •  Coordinate with clients, contractors, architects, and multidisciplinary teams. 
  •  Ensure compliance with applicable engineering codes, standards, and regulations. 
  •  Support proposal development, project planning, and business growth initiatives.
  •  Mentor junior engineers and designers as needed.

Qualifications:
  •  Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT preferred not required.
  •  Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  •  8+ years of relevant MEP engineering experience needed.
  •  Strong knowledge of engineering design principles, codes, and industry standards .
  •  Experience with commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects for MEP work. 
  •  Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
  • AutoCAD proficiency is a MUST.
  • MUST be a CURRENT New Jersey/New York Resident.
  • Must be a Green Card holder or US Citizen.
