Job description

Join us at Kellanova as an Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator, where you’ll support safety and environmental excellence at our state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facilities in Rome, GA. In this role, you’ll split your time between the production floor and administrative data management, giving you well-rounded experience across EHS operations.

This position is on-site, working Monday–Friday from 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM. The starting hourly pay rate for this position is $26.57. You’ll be joining a supportive, collaborative team committed to protecting people and improving operational performance, an opportunity to make meaningful contributions every single day.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

  • Maintaining EHS Systems – Oversee and update plant environmental health and safety data management systems, leveraging SAP for purchasing and supporting on-call needs as the backup to the EHS Manager.
  • Supporting Regulatory Compliance – Manage required documentation and assist in preparing regulatory reports for agencies such as EPA and OSHA, ensuring accuracy and alignment with occupational health requirements.
  • Tracking Critical Metrics – Collect, analyze, and report environmental and safety performance data, supporting sustainability initiatives and upkeep of facility action registers.
  • Leading Training & Engagement – Serve as the safety training coordinator, partnering with vendors and department leaders to build and maintain training plans while actively participating in plant safety and environmental committees.

We’re Looking for Someone With

  • High school diploma
  • OSHA 30 Certificate
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong customer service background
  • Proven organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction
  • Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for this role
