Frontgate is seeking a resourceful, creative and flexible Part-Time Brand Copywriter to help bring our luxury lifestyle brand to life. This on-call position is ideal for a passionate storyteller who thrives in fast-paced, seasonal environments and enjoys collaborating across teams. While hours are limited to 20 per week and may fluctuate based on business needs, you'll play a key role during major product turnover seasons. When Frontgate's workload is lighter, you'll also support our sister brand, Grandin Road, with compelling product copy.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Write engaging, benefit-driven product copy for Frontgate's print and digital channels.
  • Seamlessly pivot between macro storytelling and micro product detail, ensuring accuracy and brand consistency.
  • Support Grandin Road with product copy during slower Frontgate periods, maintaining each brand's unique voice.
  • Organize and manage copy assets, contributing to efficient workflows and cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Balance speed and quality, delivering creative content by tight deadlines in a dynamic, seasonal environment.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, English or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of copywriting experience, ideally in retail, lifestyle or agency settings.
  • Proven ability to craft compelling, on-brand copy for luxury or design-focused products.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Editing and proofreading skills.
  • Flexible, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to self-direct and prioritize.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with Adobe InDesign on Mac is a plus.

Additional Details
  • This is a part-time, on-call position (up to 20 hours/week; hours not guaranteed weekly).
  • Seasonal workload peaks during major product turnover periods.
  • Occasional support for Grandin Road as needed.
