Job Description
The Lions' Pride Media Group is looking to fill the following positions:
  • Staff Writers, Editors, Copyeditors
  • Multimedia Writers/Creators/Designers (video, audio, slide shows, etc.)
  • Computer Programmers for online website
  • Photographers and Videographers
  • Advertising, Marketing, and Fundraising Representatives
  • Managing Financial Editor (analyzes data, reports financial performance, helps prepare budgets, and monitors costs)
  • Layout and Design for the print issues. Knowledge of InDesign or willingness to learn

What You'll Do:
As a student journalist/content creator, you'll be part of a dynamic team producing journalism that informs, inspires, and amplifies student voices across campus. Duties include:
  • Report and write articles covering campus news, student life, arts, sports, social issues, and more
  • Attend campus events (day or night) and generate digital content, including photos, videos, and social media posts
  • Conduct interviews with students, faculty, and guests; you'll get to meet people and tell their stories
  • Pitch original ideas and follow through to publication - either print or digital
  • Work across platforms: print, web, video, and social media
  • Meet weekly deadlines and attend team meetings (weekly meetings required unless excused for class)
