Job description

A well-established boutique law firm in the Cobb County area is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Coordinator to join its team in a temp-to-perm capacity. This role will begin with part-time hours and has the potential to grow into a long-term opportunity for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will have prior legal billing experience and be comfortable managing the full billing cycle in a law firm environment. Experience with Orion is strongly preferred, though candidates with Tabs experience will also be considered.

This position will work closely with the Office Administrator and may assist with additional administrative or operational tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Print and distribute pre-bills for attorney review
  • Coordinate billing edits and revisions with attorneys
  • Process finalized invoices accurately and timely
  • Submit electronic billing (e-billing) to clients and resolve submission issues as needed
  • Monitor billing deadlines and assist with follow-up on outstanding items
  • Maintain organized billing records and documentation
  • Assist with additional administrative or office support duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Prior law firm billing experience required
  • Experience with Orion strongly preferred; Tabs experience will be considered
  • Familiarity with e-billing platforms and legal invoicing processes
