Adjunct Faculty - Undergraduate Business, MBA, and DBA Programs
Position Purpose
New England College seeks part-time undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral management faculty to develop and teach courses in a variety of disciplines:
  • Accounting; Academic Writing; Organizational Behavior;
  • Economics; Ethics; Finance; Entrepreneurship;
  • Project Management; Strategic Research Project;
  • Applied Statistics; Research Design; Advanced Research;
  • Marketing; Data Visualization; Strategic Analysis;
  • Management; Leadership; Operational Planning;
  • Healthcare Management; Technology & AI Strategies.

Management division undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral courses are offered on campus, online, and in hybrid and low-residency formats at the Henniker, NH campus. Faculty teaching in the Management graduate Spanish Language Programs must be bilingual (English and Spanish).
Essential Duties Summary
  • Develop and teach undergraduate business, MBA, and DBA courses.
  • Review and grade work submitted by students and provide timely and substantive feedback.
  • Coach struggling students towards course and program success.
  • Teach the approved curriculum on the schedule to support student satisfaction.
  • Engage students to facilitate and achieve course learning outcomes.
  • Advise students on academics, attendance, and behavior expectations.
  • Support retention by engaging students and contacting absent students to offer help.
  • Advise students on research and consulting projects, internships, and practical training.
  • Maintain and report student grades and attendance in accordance with institutional policy.

Required Qualifications
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and presentation skills.
  • Superior communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills; completes assignments accurately and on time.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Blackboard, and Canvas.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach effectively at multiple college levels is essential.
  • Earned master's degree in business, research, or IT project management, plus either 18 graduate credits in the discipline or relevant professional certification and experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Earned doctoral degree in business, research, or IT project management, plus either 18 graduate credits in the discipline or relevant professional certification and experience.
  • Record of intellectual and professional contributions in management or a related field, including publications and presentations.
  • Experience serving on dissertation or strategic project committees.
  • Independent research project mentoring is a plus.
