Part-Time Dispatcher

Pay Range: $15 - $18 hourly, depending on experience

Checkered Flag Automotive Group is looking for a Dispatcher to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA!

What Our Dispatchers Do

  • Provide exceptional support to drivers and customers
  • Respond quickly to questions and troubleshoot concerns
  • Manage driver attendance and overall performance
  • Proactively monitor the movement of parts to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Monitor shipments throughout transit to effectively meet delivery schedules
  • Utilize planning and tracking software to effectively schedule and dispatch Parts and Shuttle Drivers

Your Pre-Qualifications

  • 2 years of dispatcher or other transportation-related experience
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented and able to multitask and prioritize demands
  • Self-motivated problem-solver with a strong desire to meet customer needs
  • Familiarity with the Hampton Roads area for planning routes effectively
  • High school diploma or equivalent
