Direct Support Professional - Hourly Supported Community Living PART TIME

Employment Type: Part Time

Schedules Available: Monday - Friday | 4:00PM-8:00PM

Wage: Starting at $17.75/hour

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in our Community Services program, you'll play a key role in helping individuals live more independently, achieve their goals, and stay connected to their community.

You'll work directly with adults in their homes or in the community - supporting daily living skills, encouraging social development, and helping individuals thrive.

What You'll Do

- Teach daily living skills like self-care, meal prep, cleaning, and communication

- Support community and recreational involvement based on client interests

- Assist with hygiene, personal care, and medication (after training/certification)

- Provide transportation to/from activities using your personal vehicle

- Document progress and follow individualized service plans

- Promote independence, dignity, and choice in every interaction

Requirements

- High School diploma or GED

- Valid Driver's License, ability to qualify as an approved driver, and meet minimum insurance requirements ($25,000/person bodily injury liability)

- Must be 18+ years old

- Ability to pass background checks and complete required training

- Comfortable assisting with personal care and managing behavioral challenges.

- Physically able to lift/move up to 35 lbs, and engage in active duties (standing, bending, running, et.)
