Job description

Victory Solutions is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dynamo Technologies. Victory Solutions is a Small Disadvantaged Business providing quality technical and engineering services to NASA, the DoD, Industry and academia.
We are looking for an Information and Data Management Support Specialist (IDM2) on the MSFC CDM contract located at Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL. This is a part-time (20 hours a week) onsite position to begin in July and will be transitioned to full-time later this year.
Early to Mid-Career Data Management professional with demonstrated skills in programming and developing database solutions in support of configuration management and project data as part of an existing team in a hardware development environment at NASA/Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC). The focus of the task includes supporting configuration management processes and data deliverables from prime contractors utilizing existing information systems/tools. Candidate is required to have experience in managing data and utilizing established processes using MS Access database tools and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to ensure the project technical baseline and data are maintained. A key component of this position is expertise related to handling and managing access to sensitive data such as Proprietary, Export Controlled, or Limited Rights data). Relevant experience in the usage of electronic Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems such as PTC Windchill and/or Portal tools such as MS SharePoint and/or databases such as Atlassian Jira or MS ACESS database development is desired. Successful implementation requires initiative and expertise to maintain project design and operational data while meeting NASA/MSFC security requirements.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Interface with personnel in the SLS Spacecraft/Payload Integration & Evolution (SPIE) office of the SLS Program to support data accessibility and sharing via the provided suite of tools/systems.
  • Support the SLS SPIE Configuration and Data Management (CDM) team in CDM- related process implementation relative to the project change management function and data deliverables exchange and storage.
  • Perform integration and/or analysis of data, products, and systems tools as requested.
  • Maintain work instructions in support of the SPIE CM and DM processes.
  • Manage access to data and work areas in electronic tools and libraries.
  • Participate in audits of SPIE data as requested.
  • Support the management of data deliverables, configuration related data items as well as other project data.
  • Support technical meetings including action tracking, presentation chart development, and uploading required meeting data.

Job Specifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years of applicable experience is required. The following may be substituted for the bachelor's degree requirement: High School Diploma and 8 years of experience or master's degree and 2 years of experience.
  • Working knowledge of managing technical data in automated data management tools is required.
  • Experience with Windchill or other data storage systems usage highly desired.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint and ACCESS (or similar database) is highly desired.
  • Proficiency in VBA programming is highly desired. Experience in process-based tasks in a dynamic environment is desired.
  • Experience with handling sensitive data is desired.
  • Ability to obtain clearance/access onsite at NASA MSFC required.
  • US Citizenship required.
