As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Enhanced Part Time in Park Rapids, MN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response guidelines at the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner and document security-related concerns according to post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, warehouse, parking, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may need attention.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and report policy violations, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contacts.
• Support facility operations by maintaining accurate activity logs, communicating clearly with supervisors and/or site contacts, and assisting with security-related requests in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
