Are you passionate about hospitality and delivering exceptional service? Join our Banquet team at St. James Hotel as a Bartender! We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled individual to provide superior service to our guests, ensuring an unforgettable dining experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests with a smile, take orders, and serve food and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) with professionalism and warmth.
  • Dispense appropriate levels of alcohol and prepare drinks according to recipes and hotel standards.
  • Adhere to all hotel, local, state, and federal regulations to ensure safe and proper food and alcohol service.
  • Maintain full knowledge of all food, cocktail, wine, and beer offerings to assist guests effectively.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the entire restaurant.
  • Properly use all equipment and adhere to cost controls to minimize expenses and waste.
  • Work as a team player, contributing to the success of the bar, restaurant, and events.
  • Accurately handle cash and reconcile bartender financials at the end of the shift.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide efficient and timely services.
Qualifications

Two years of related customer service experience, preferably with cash handling.
