At Canfield Buildings, we are looking for a full- or part-time Construction Estimator to join our estimating team in Waukesha, WI. This is an in-office position! This role is perfect for a detail-driven estimator or a semi-retired contractor/tradesperson looking for a flexible opportunity.

Starting at $30/hour, with performance raises and accuracy incentive pay, this role rewards precision and expertise. Plus, full-time estimating employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package. This includes:

You will use Excel spreadsheets to organize data and ensure precision in every calculation. Maintaining up-to-date material costs in Construction Maestro will be key to keeping our bids competitive. You will assist the Project Manager with the pre-construction process, ensuring projects start smoothly. When needed, you will generate detailed material lists for the crew, helping them stay prepared on-site.

Requirements:

  • Experience in construction estimating, preferably in post-frame buildings
  • Ability to pass a pre-interview math test
  • Proficiency in Excel spreadsheets for cost analysis and estimates
  • Knowledge of Construction Maestro or willingness to learn
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cost calculations

Field experience is preferred but not required.
