Job description

Job Title: Schedule Analyst (Remote – Part-Time)

Job Type: Part-Time (approx. 132 hours/year)

Project Duration: 5 Years


Job Summary: We are seeking a professional Schedule Analyst (Remote – Part-Time) to serve as key personnel for a construction project (commercial or Govt - WWTP experience preferred). This is a long-term, remote, part-time role requiring approximately 132 hours of work per year over a five-year period. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting and communicating comprehensive, professional schedule reviews.


Key Responsibilities: The Schedule Analyst must be able to conduct complete professional schedule reviews that address the following:

  • Data Analysis: Review schedule identification, data dates, and native schedule files to ensure they meet contractual requirements.
  • Logic & Path Analysis: Perform logic and open-end analysis, and evaluate activity durations, float calculations, and critical/near-critical paths.
  • Constraints & Progress: Review milestones, constraints, calendars, and seasonal or resource restrictions, while monitoring progress and identifying out-of-sequence work.
  • Impact Assessment: Analyze changes from prior schedules and evaluate Time Impact Analysis (TIA) or recovery-schedule issues.
  • Risk & Reporting: Identify risks, provide specific findings, recommend corrective actions, and deliver clear overall conclusions.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrated ability to evaluate all principal subjects of a schedule, including logic, float, and time impacts.
  • Communication: Proven ability to communicate complex schedule data into professional written reports.
  • Documentation: Ability to provide a redacted sample of a previous professional schedule analysis report that demonstrates these competencies
