This is a Sherman Associates owned Marriott International, Inc franchised location.

Schedule: We are currently seeking part-time availability Monday through Friday mornings 6 am - 10:30 am and Sunday through Thursday evenings 3:30-6:30 pm.

Pay: $16/hour!

Essential Functions

  • Coordinates special events or special projects as assigned.
  • Serves alcoholic beverages, non-alcoholic beverages and food, in the Club Lounge.
  • Checks identification of guests to ensure guests are of legal age to consume alcoholic beverages.
  • Cleans and maintains the serving space.
  • Ensures safe and proper food handling techniques are followed.
  • Problem-solves guest related issues.
  • Responds to inquiries with accurate information regarding hotel features, services, and assistance.
  • Knowledgeable of daily functions, VIP's and any other special events occurring in or pertaining to the hotel.
  • Cleans and sanitizes work areas, utensils, and equipment.
  • Cleans service and guest seating areas.
  • Checks temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, and heating equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Stocks customer self-service stations with paper products, snacks, and beverage preparation items.
  • Completes other tasks and duties as assigned based on business needs.

Minimum Requirements

  • Previous hotel/hospitality or related service industry experience is strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to pass required Alcohol service training.
  • A passion for the mission, vision, and values of Sherman Associates.
  • Shifts may vary due to the specific needs of the hotel.
  • Knowledge of Food Handler's Illness guidelines.
