Job description

Job Purpose: To meet and greet customers to the dealership, answer and route incoming calls, take messages. To receive cash from customers and employees in payment for goods and services and records the amount received in an accurate manner and perform additional clerical functions as assigned
Part-time: Alternating days M-F, hours 4:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m., alternating Saturdays 8:00a.m.-8:00p.m. Must be willing and able to work alternating Saturdays and evenings.
Job Duties:
  1. Meet and greet customers in a professional manner
  2. Operate switchboard telephone system
  3. Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time spent on hold
  4. Take through messages, indicating the callers first and last name, company name if applicable, the time and the message the caller wishes to leave
  5. Provide basic information to callers who have general inquires
  6. Assist with filling duties and other administrative tasks as needed
  7. Prepare sales and service gas tickets for the Accounting Department
  8. Assist the General Manager with various clerical duties as needed
  9. Attend meetings and trainings as scheduled
  10. Perform other duties as assigned
  11. Be friendly, professional, courteous and efficient when working with all customers and employees
  12. Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company's Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers
  13. Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
  14. Refer customers who have additional questions (e.g. questions about their repair order) to the service advisor or other appropriate individual.
  15. Handle customer complaints with integrity and poise and take or refer the complaining customer to the appropriate individual for further communication.
  16. Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.

Job Requirements
  1. Must have at least a high school diploma/GED
  2. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and excel

  4. Must be able to work some evenings and weekends
  5. All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license
  6. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  7. Basic skills with computer and other office machines (copier, credit card machine, telephone, adding machine) necessary to perform the cashiering/clerical duties.

  9. Ability to work well with customers and present a friendly, helpful attitude at all times.
