Neurologist (Part-Time) - Queens, NY


Job Type:
Part-Time (Onsite)
Practice Setting: Primary Care & Multi-Specialty Outpatient
Schedule: Flexible | Up to 16 hours per week | No On-Call


Job Summary:

A well-established primary care and multi-specialty outpatient practice is seeking a Part-Time Neurologist to join its growing neurology services in Queens, NY. This role offers schedule flexibility and the opportunity to provide high-quality neurological care within a collaborative, patient-centered environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive neurological evaluations, including history, physical, and mental status exams

  • Diagnose and manage neurological conditions such as epilepsy, stroke, migraines, dementia, Parkinson's disease, and multiple sclerosis

  • Order and interpret diagnostic studies including EEG, EMG, MRI, and CT scans

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Prescribe medications and recommend therapeutic interventions

  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and prognosis

  • Collaborate with primary care providers and specialty colleagues to ensure coordinated care

  • Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR

  • Stay current with evidence-based neurology practices and continuing education


Qualifications:
  • MD or DO with completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology residency

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology (preferred)

  • Minimum 5 years of clinical neurology experience preferred

  • Active New York medical license or ability to obtain

  • Strong diagnostic, communication, and patient management skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an outpatient setting
