Job description

Salem City School District is hiring Paraprofessionals on a part time basis for the 2026-2027 school year.

Pay rate:  $18-$25 per hour

Schedule: up to 29.75 hours per week

Enrollment in New Jersey Defined Contribution Retirement Program (DCRP) and Group Life Insurance through NJ Department of Pensions and Benefits

8 Paid Sick days, One Personal day, given annually.

Eligibility for enrollment in 403b Tax Shelter Annuity Plans. Vendors: MetLife/Brighthouse, Equitable,Midland or Lincoln Investment Planning.

Eligibility for enrollment in Disability, Life, Accident, Cancer, Critical Illness, Hospital Confinement Plans with Colonial Life Insurance.

Eligibility for enrollment in Disability Insurance with Prudential, Colonial Life, or AFLAC.
