Job description

Description
Join a team committed to healing, equity, and hope for participants of a re-entry program. The Post-Release Therapist supports participants to create and achieve goals in their treatment plan, while working alongside the comprehensive care team. This position is part-time (8:30-12:30) or full-time (8:30-5:00), on a temporary or temporary-to-permanent basis.
Essential Duties:
  • Conduct 1:1 and group sessions with participants using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing approaches to support participants to achieve their goals.
  • Evaluate participant progress and support needed using assessments and evaluation as needed.
  • Document sessions and interactions in the electronic record system
  • Work in conjunction with the care team including participating in internal meetings, supervisory meetings, and providing input on participant progress and needs.

Position Requirements
Qualifications:
  • LMSW/LCSW
  • 3-5 years experience in mental health and substance use disorders
  • Familiarity with and endorsement of 12-step program and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy interventions
