Part-time Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The Part-time Maintenance Technician will work under the supervision of Director of Facilities. The position requires knowledge of and compliance with all state and local codes. Be familiar with general maintenance duties and equipment.
Essential Duties Summary
Part-time Maintenance Technician
1. Perform campus set-ups for college events.
2. Pressure washing
3. Maintaining building exteriors and entrances (cleaning and debris removal)
4. Operate College equipment as assigned.
Shipping and Receiving
1. Accepts delivery from daily UPS, FedEx, Amazon and Freight Trucks.
2. Operate a forklift to unload freight trucks.
Vehicle Management
1. Maintain the college's golf carts.
Other
โ€ข Treat students and colleagues respectfully, speak to others courteously, and behave in such a way that creates a workplace environment that is marked by trustworthiness, honest but polite communication, and interpersonal.

Physical Demands
ADA requirements for this position include critical thinking skills with the ability to process information, analyze data, make assessments, and exercise good judgment to make decisions; possess ease of mobility within the work environment and other areas of campus; and effective use of all forms of communication (oral, visual, auditory), including use of computers. Be able to lift weights up to 75 pounds on a regular basis. Exposure to severe weather conditions, and hazardous chemicals.
