Part Time 20 hours a week

Location: Lutheran Community (40 Units)

15 Village Drive Lawrenceburg, IN 47025

Position Summary

The Property Manager I is responsible for the overall operations, financial performance, and compliance of an affordable housing community. This role ensures the property meets occupancy, budget, and regulatory goals while delivering excellent resident service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily property operations and supervise site staff

  • Manage budgets, financial reporting, and expenses

  • Ensure compliance with HUD, LIHTC, and Fair Housing regulations

  • Maintain occupancy goals through leasing and marketing efforts

  • Prepare for and maintain strong MOR and REAC inspection results

  • Manage vendors and oversee maintenance operations

  • Support resident satisfaction and retention initiatives

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • 1-2 years of property management experience (affordable housing preferred)

  • Knowledge of HUD/LIHTC programs and Fair Housing laws

  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems
