Requirements:

What You'll Do As a Personal Caregiver, youโ€™ll provide essential support to clients in their daily lives, including:

  • Provide personal care according to the client's care plan, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and helping with transfers as needed.
  • Offering companionship and a listening earโ€”perfect for those who love to chat about the latest news or local events.
  • Prepare simple, healthy meals
  • Perform light housekeeping such as dishes, laundry, and tidying up
  • Provide transportation to appointments and assist with miscellaneous errands
  • Communicate any changes or concerns to the office or family

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • Prior caregiving experience preferred (personal or professional)
  • Current driverโ€™s license, insurance, and good driving record
  • Reliable, compassionate, and patient
  • Ability to assist safely with mobility and daily tasks
  • Willingness to learn new skills and work independently and in cooperation with others
  • Ability to communicate with others effectively and professionally with a high degree of sensitivity and respect, timeliness, attire, policies, and procedures
  • Ability to work with physically or mentally impaired clients, possibly having a form of dementia or Alzheimers
  • Must pass background check
