OPERATIONS: PART-TIME CHANGEOVER CREW ( Part Time)
Trail Drive Management Corporation - Dickies Arena of Fort Worth, TX

Dickies Arena is a 14,000 seat, spectacular multipurpose venue located adjacent to the Will Rogers Memorial Center campus in Fort Worth, Texas. The arena will be owned by the City of Fort Worth and managed by the not-for-profit operating entity, Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC). The state-of-the-art arena, scheduled to open in November 2019, will host concerts, sporting events and family entertainment, and will be the new home to Fort Worth Stock Show rodeo performances.
Job Summary:
Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC) is looking for a part-time Changeover Crew position. This role is responsible for performing routine conversions of concert staging, basketball flooring, hockey dashers/ice builds, Arena seating configurations/systems, and other various events.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Responsible for the physical setup of all areas around the Arena, including flooring, chairs, tables, walls, staging, furnishings, and equipment, including ice, basketball, other sporting events, and concert staging set-ups
  • Set-up and break-down of retractable and telescopic Irwin Seating System
  • Actively cares for all arena equipment and property by storing equipment properly, cleaning and repairing broken or damaged items, and alerting management of any mistreatment of property
  • Maintain organized storage areas assigned
  • Respond and resolve set-up issues promptly as directed by fellow staff and management
  • May be required to operate industrial vehicles such as carts, forklifts, and floor scrubbers
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred and/or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years of experience in a manual labor position in public assembly facilities
  • Any experience and/or training in the public assembly facility management industry is a plus
  • Must have a Texas motor vehicle license
  • Demonstrate knowledge of practices and procedures related to typical methods and techniques for conversions and maintaining the facility equipment, and proper use and care of hand and power tools
  • Demonstrate ability to carry out tasks in a reliable, productive, and expedient manner, and be able to adhere to strict deadlines
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including - nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Able to communicate effectively with management, guests, and team members.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Working Conditions:
  • Employees will work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures.
  • Employees must have the ability to lift, push, and pull up 50 lbs.
  • Employees will regularly spend their shift standing/walking, traveling stairs, with limited to no sitting.
  • Employees may be exposed to high noise levels and/or fluctuating lights in event settings.
  • Employees may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and heights.
  • Employees must have the ability to reach, lift, and bend to perform job duties throughout the shift.
  • Employees may be exposed to hazardous chemicals, electrical shock risks, and vibrations throughout the shift.

Other Duties:
  • During the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo (Mid-January through early February), there will be opportunities for significant consecutive-day shifts ranging from 8 am - 8 pm
