Job description

Overview

Adjunct assistant professors teach in area of content expertise in the department's academic program. Duties of this position include:

  • Prepare course content for assigned academic courses that meet accreditation knowledge and skills.
  • Develop course syllabus.
  • Teach course within the identified days/times.
  • Complete all grading requirements as identified in the course syllabus.
  • Complete final grade submission at the end of the semester.
  • Complete Canvas LMS modules and utilize Canvas for the course.
Responsibilities
  • Expertise in content area.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with students.
  • Keep up to date with Canvas training, licensure, and certification requirements.
Qualifications
