Job description

Northgate Resorts owns and manages the most awarded Camp-Resort portfolio in the nation. Our passion is creating family camping memories for our guests – memories that will last a lifetime! We don’t do this as individuals, but as a passionate team that cares about making a difference in our guests’ lives. We endeavor to be a highly effective, lean, and fast-moving organization.
The Campground Attendant is responsible for the overall cleanliness and appearance of guest sites and common areas, and occasional park maintenance assistance. This is a SEASONAL, full-time or part-time position and reports to the Park Services Supervisor.

DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Facility Duties
    • Timely trash pick-up around the park, operate trash compactor
    • Prepare sites and golf carts for guest arrivals (cleaning, wiping down, charging, etc.)
    • Power wash various areas in the park (pool deck, cafe areas, etc.)
    • Clean all pavilions, cafe common areas/eating spaces, and bathhouses
    • Complete all waterpark clean up (deck, trash, cabanas, keeping chairs/tables in orderly positions)
    • Clean all decks and patios, windows, and doors throughout the park
    • Assist as needed in maintaining the park’s landscaping, including watering plants
  • Site Duties (at lodging sites and RV/tent sites)
    • Clean all picnic tables and fire rings between use
    • Pick up all trash at the site
    • Assist guest relations as needed in delivering firewood to guests
    • Assist as needed with cabins and lodging cleaning
  • Atmosphere Control
    • Responsible for the overall aesthetics of the park
    • Report maintenance issues in public areas
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
  • Customer service experience preferred
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends, holidays, and evenings
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, coworkers, and management
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Continuously climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl
  • Able to manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to reach, carry, lift, etc.
  • Constant exposure to outside weather conditions
