Business Development Manager - Part Time
We're looking for a seasoned Business Development Representative/Manager (BDR/BDM) with a technical background and a consultative, relationship-first approach.
Hours: ~10 hrs./week | 30-60 days initially, ideally extend to long term
What You'll Do
• Identify and engage prospects, understand their needs, and schedule qualified meetings
• Build authentic relationships - no pressure tactics, just real conversations
• Pick up the phone with energy and curiosity - have a passion for business development
• Collaborate closely with Northwood Advisors Team
• Use tools like Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive to stay organized and connected
What You Bring
• Must live in US; Native or fully bilingual English speaker
• 8+ years of sales experience
• Technical familiarity with business analytics, BI, data warehousing, databases, Power BI, Azure, Fabric
• Consultative, problem-solving mindset - ability to conversationally discuss business impact of technical solutions to executives
• Experience selling technical solutions or come from a technology background
• Highly collaborative and comfortable in a flexible, part-time role
• Credible, professional, down to earth, genuine
