Water Sports Boat Captains

Compensation - Pay Commensurate with Experience (per hour rates).

John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park Concession is looking for a full time and several part time Water Sports Boat Captains. (Benefits available with full time).

Requirements:

  • PADI or similar agency Dive Master Certificate or higher.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Tour boat Captain duties as related to crew management, passenger management, vessel management, etc.

We provide the following experiences:

  • 2 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours Snorkel Boat Adventures.
  • 4 Hour Dive Boat Adventures.
  • Must be able to work in a very busy environment.
  • Must be available to assist with weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to assist with all aspects of the commercial boat experience.
Water Sports Reservationist - Customer Service Clerk

Base pay rate - $12.00 per hour

John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park Concession is looking for part time and full time Water Sports Reservationists - Customer Service Clerks (benefits available with full time).

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Booking, processing, emailing, answering phones, interacting with customers, register use, etc.

Requirements:

  • Prior customer service experience preferred.

  • Advanced experience with kayaks required.
  • Must be able to tolerate sun for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
  • Must know how to swim and rescue kayakers/paddle boarders.
  • Must be able to load and unload kayaks and paddleboards.
Snack bar/Cashiers

John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park Concession is looking for several part time and full time Snack bar/Cashiers.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Greeting customers, use of register, food/meal prep, food stock/inventory, cleaning, etc.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in food industry preferred.
  • Must be able to pass the food safety certification.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to work in a very busy environment.

Compensation based on experience.

Florida Food Manager Certificate required.
