Job description

We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter / Dock Builder to join a growing dock construction team. This position involves building, repairing, and maintaining docks, seawalls, and waterfront structures. If you enjoy working outdoors, have carpentry experience, and are comfortable working around water, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Construct and repair docks, piers, boat lifts, and waterfront structures
  • Measure, cut, and install lumber and other building materials
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Assist with piling installation and structural framing
  • Load, unload, and transport materials to job sites
  • Follow all safety procedures while working near and over water
  • Work as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and on schedule

Requirements:

  • Previous carpentry, construction, or dock-building experience preferred
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Must be able to work around and over water
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
  • Ability to use basic hand and power tools
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
