We are looking for a Full-Time and Part-Time Boat Detailers for the Summer Season to help us in delivering award-winning customer service and creating a unique and memorable experience for our customers.

Position Overview

The Boat Detailer is a key member of the marina operations team, responsible for delivering high-quality detailing services that support exceptional customer experiences. This role goes beyond basic cleaning and includes maintaining the appearance, condition, and presentation of a wide range of boats.

The Boat Detailer works closely with the Service Manager and service team to ensure daily operational success. This position requires attention to detail, reliability, strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while upholding company standards.


Primary Responsibilities

• Clean and detail boats according to company standards and customer expectations
• Perform thorough washing, buffing, and waxing of boat exteriors
• Vacuum, steam clean, and deodorize boat interiors
• Conduct detail inspections to ensure quality and completeness of work
• Operate steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other detailing equipment safely and effectively
• Apply cleaning, protective, and restorative products to maintain and enhance boat appearance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assist with general marina and service department tasks as needed
• Support the Marina Manager in daily operations and overall service department efficiency
• Ensure timely completion of detailing assignments to meet customer and business needs
• Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned


Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed
• Ability to ascend and descend ladders
• Ability to work in various weather conditions


Education, Licensing & Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid Driver’s License preferred
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines


Work Schedule

• Five (5) days per week, including weekends during peak season
• Monday–Friday schedule during off-peak season
• Flexible scheduling based on business needs
• Full-time, part-time, seasonal, or year-round opportunities available
