Part Time Behavioral Health Outpatient Therapist

Answers to: Clinical Program Director


    Position Overview

    The Behavioral Health Therapist works under the direction of the Clinical Program Director to provide assessments, therapy, and treatment planning for individuals and families. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for supporting individuals on their recovery journey.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct initial and follow-up assessments to determine treatment needs.
    • Develop individualized case plans in collaboration with individuals served.
    • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions (under supervision as applicable).
    • Document progress, behaviors, and interactions in clear, timely case notes.
    • Monitor and track individual progress throughout treatment.
    • Communicate relevant information with staff, probation officers, and other professionals.
    • Participate in weekly treatment team meetings.
    • Create aftercare plans for individuals upon discharge.
    • Liaise with insurance companies as requested.
    • Assist with yearly audits and compile required documentation.
    • Contribute feedback to improve programming and services.
    • Attend required yearly training and maintain compliance with licensure.
    • Collaborate with other departments and assist where needed.

    Qualifications

    • Required Licensure: LPCA LCSW (must remain current and valid).
    • Valid driver’s license required.

    Education:

    • Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling
