Job description

Overview
We're hiring for a part-time Deli Clerk to join our Deli team! We'll provide the training; you just bring the positive attitude and desire to learn!
The primary focus of this position is to provide remarkable customer service to our guests by creating a fun and friendly atmosphere and actively engaging guests through product samples and suggestive selling.
In this position, you can expect to:
  • Slice, weigh, package, and label meat and cheese products for our guests
  • Prepare and dish up salads
  • Serve food to guests through the hot case (as applicable at location)
  • Ensure the deli case and product areas are stocked with merchandise and visually appealing
  • Prepare meat and cheese trays, veggie trays, and other department products to be merchandised and sold in the store
  • Follow food safety guidelines and all health, safety and sanitation regulations

In this position, you may also be responsible for dish washing, mixing ingredients, assembling catering orders baking/frying products.
