Position Summary

This position is responsible for providing support to the company's Insurance Departments by performing data entry, scanning and revising reports as required by the company's indemnification programs, and assisting in maintenance of department compliance. The Insurance Administrator serves as a key liaison between internal teams, insurance agents, and transportation providers to ensure insurance documentation and compliance requirements are met. This role requires strong attention to detail, proactive communication, and the ability to manage multiple processes in a collaborative, service-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Input and maintain accurate systems data, compile reports and scan documents relating to the company's indemnification programs
  • Review certificates of insurance and indemnification agreements; report deficiencies through compliance reports to respective managers
  • Act as a liaison between service providers and managers to ensure that required insurance coverage is obtained; generate correspondence when a provider is not in compliance
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
  • Part-time schedule of approximately 20 hours per week, with preferred working hours between 12:00 PM-5:00 PM or 1:00 PM-5:00 PM (Eastern)

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to identify discrepancies and follow issues through resolution
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
