Job Overview

We are seeking a Part-Time Admin/Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join a local company. This role is vital in supporting our organization’s operational efficiency by managing accounts payable functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with administrative tasks. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking flexible work hours while contributing to a dynamic organization committed to excellence.

Duties

  • Process and verify invoices using accounting software such as QuickBooks
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable functions, including data entry of vendor bills, preparation of payments via checks or electronic transfers, and account reconciliation.
  • Maintain vendor files, process expense reports, and handle inquiries related to accounts payable.
  • Assist with administrative duties such as document management, data entry, and filing
  • Support the organization’s bookkeeping activities including double-entry bookkeeping and account reconciliation.
  • Assist with order fulfillment during down time!

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in accounting or administrative roles with a focus on accounts payable or bookkeeping functions.
  • Proficiency in computer software such as QuickBooks, and excel
  • Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to be flexible with job duties as assistance may be needed in other areas
  • Must have very flexible schedule
