Title: Podiatrist Part-Time (3 days/week)

Are you a licensed Podiatrist looking for a flexible schedule and a rewarding career in senior care? We're hiring for two part-time Podiatrists to join a respected healthcare group in Virginia, covering either the Richmond or Fredericksburg region.
Position Highlights:
  • Work setting is approximately 60% home visits and 40% facility-based (e.g., assisted living, long-term care, senior care centers)
  • Choose your own 3-day work schedule, Monday through Friday (Saturday optional)
  • Average of 24-36 patients/week for home visits; 30-90 patients/week for facility visits
  • Day shift only (8 AM - 5 PM)
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Malpractice insurance provided
  • Orientation: 2 weeks with 30-day credentialing period
  • Administrative support: dedicated schedulers to coordinate appointments
  • EMR: Charm Health (training provided; any EMR experience accepted)
  • Ideal start date: March 1st
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of foot and ankle conditions including diabetic foot issues, nail and skin disorders, ulcers, wounds, pain, neuropathy, arthritis, and deformities
  • Provide services such as nail care, avulsions, wart treatment, and lesion removal
  • Maintain thorough documentation within 24 hours of patient visits
  • Review patient medical history and offer preventive foot care guidance
Requirements:
  • Current VA State Podiatry License
  • Active DEA registration
  • Active CAQH profile
  • Experience in ALF, LTC, senior care, primary or family care settings is required
  • Preferred additional experience in urgent care, trauma, ER, or inpatient acute care settings
